COULTER, LEONARD Q. SR., 57, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009.
He was a member of St. Frances of Rome and a retired teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools. He coached at several local high schools, played basketball at Morehead State University where he was selected as an All American and was also inducted into the Kentucky Hall of Fame. He also played with the Seattle Supersonics and the SSVers in Hagen, West Germany.
Survivors: daughter, Tiffany McDermott (Tim); son, Leonard Coulter Jr.; former wife, Zerelda Jean Coulter; aunt, Agnes Lancaster; four grandchildren Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Sunday.
