Lex Jeffries

Lex E. Jeffries, 80, passed away November 28, 2015 at the Robley Rex Veteran's Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tubal E. & Ona Vera Langdon Jeffries, brothers, Jimmy, Earl, and Jerry Jeffries.
Lex retired as a self employed contractor, was an Army Veteran having served with the 7th U.S. Army Artillery Unit and an Army sharpshooter. He had done tours of duty in Korea, Beirut, Lebanon and Cold War Europe. He was a member of Victory General Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge #940 F&AM, Past Master 2003. He was also a member of Boaz Masonic Lodge #850, member of the Scottish Rite and a 32 degree Mason, and member of LMPD FOP Lodge #614.
He is survived by his beautiful wife of 56 years, Norma J. Pulliam Jeffries, brothers, Terry, Marion, and Jerry, sisters; Betsy Bugg, Patricia Turner, Anita Houchins, Judy Sprowles, Phyllis France, Sharron Burden and Pamela G. Wise along with many nieces and nephews.
