Lillian Able

Able, Lillian Gregg View/Sign Guest Book ABLE, LILLIAN GREGG, 82, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008, at Masonic Homes of Kentucky. She was a retired telephone operator for South Central Bell, a member of the Fairdale Order of the Eastern Star and Kenwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Louis E. Able. Survivors include her son, David L. Able; a daughter, Shirley Stiller (Richard); sisters, Rhoda Roehrig (Joe) and Ellen Scobey (Dave); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral service will be held at noon Friday a Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to Gideons International, Hospice of Louisville or the Masonic Home.
