DANAHY, LILLIAN NINA, 96, known as "Nonie" to her family and friends, passed away March 30, 2014. She loved to make people laugh and always showed a deep concern for others. Nonie was the matriarch of a proud family of five generations. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all, especially Paul, her husband of almost 60 years, and her cuddly little lap dog "Lulu". She is also survived by her children, Doris Jean Tomerlin DeSpain and Marilynn Tomerlin Bluhm (Gary); five grandchildren, Chris Lovorn (Saundra), Renee Price (Robert), Charisse Mook (Ken), Tonya and Todd; and nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters with another on the way. Funeral services for Nonie will be at noon on Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday. The family is grateful for the loving kindness and tender care of our friends at Hosparus.
