Lillian Denney

Lillian Alma Denney, 94, wife to Lloyd A. Denney, passed away at Norton Audubon Hospital on Thursday October 29, 2020.  She was born to the late Robert L. and Lorraine (Pennick) Milton in Beckley, West Virginia on June 25, 1926.  She is also preceded in death by her sons, Lloyd “Butch” Denney, Jr, Allen Farley, sister, Genny and brother, Bob.

Lillian was a member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church and she retired from Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital’s housekeeping department.

Besides her husband of almost 64 years she is survived by daughters, Dana Helems and Alta Runner along with 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday (11/9) at 1:00 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be Sunday (11/8)) from 2-6 pm at the funeral home.

Due to Covid restrictions masks are required during visitation and service and social distancing is expected.
