Lisa Gilbert

GILBERT, LISA FLOWERS, 38, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at her residence. Born in Louisville, she was the former Lisa C. Duvall, a technical writer for Humana, a graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School and University of Pennsylvania (magna cum laude), a copywriter at The Courier-Journal and a volunteer at the Shamrock Foundation. She is survived by her husband, Shawn C. Gilbert and his sons, Trent and Avery; her parents, Lita and Carlton Duvall; her first husband, Todd Flowers; many special friends, including Anne Nutt and Elizabeth Black; and her beloved pets, Nova and Wily. Her funeral service will be noon Wednesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Shamrock Foundation.
