RUHE, LISA JO, 44, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011.
She was preceded into eternity by her mother, Beatrice Ford and her sister, Wanda (Ford) McGuire.
She is survived by her father Joe Ford; her sister, Phyllis Atkins (Gene); her brothers, Ronnie Ford (Karen) and Charles "Butch" Ford (Lillian); children, Bradley and Amber Clyde; stepson John Michael Ruhe; and her husband, John.
A native of Louisville, she was a longtime employee of Mr. Gatti's in Iroquois and Valley Station. "A stranger is just a friend I haven't made yet," pretty well sums up her way of life. She will be dearly missed far beyond her family.
A service celebrating the life of Lisa will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home , 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please give generously to the Crusade for Children Endowment Fund through PRP Fire Department.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the many staff at Norton Hospital for their dedication and care.
