Roberts, Lloyd K. View/Sign Guest Book ROBERTS, LLOYD K., 90, of Louisville, passed away Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Britthaven of South Louisville Nursing Home. He was a retired road inspector for the Jefferson County Works Department and a former Jefferson County patrolman. He was a Naval veteran of World War II and a survivor of the USS "Helena" Cruiser lost in the battle of Kula Gulf on July 6, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Buna May Roberts; three sisters; and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, the former Connie M. Lee of Lee County, VA; two nieces; seven nephews; and many grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411, Fairdale Road, with interment in the Louisville Memorial Garden West. Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
