Logan Rosenbarger

Logan Tyler Rosenbarger, 21, of Spencer County, Kentucky, passed away on July 23, 2022.  He was born on January 7, 2001, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Bethany Ross-Streble and Eric Rosenbarger.

Logan was a 2019 graduate of Spencer County High School.  He was a proud and honorable member of the Army National Guard 15T, where he was a Blackhawk Maintainer.  Logan also worked as a welder for Blue Tank and Pump Rental.

While attending Spencer County High School, Logan was a football player and a member of the bass fishing team.  He attended the welding program at Shelby County Area Technology Center where he earned a certification in welding and earned college credits with Jefferson County Technical College.  Logan bravely chose to serve his country and enlisted in the Army National Guard for a term of 6 years, prior to graduating.  Logan always reported to his National Guard duty punctually and had already begun climbing the ranks, he was on track to receive a promotion to Sergeant following Non-commissioned officer school in October.  He had high hopes of taking a voluntary deployment overseas at the turn of 2023.  Logan’s future plans were to re-enlist with the Army National Guard once his initial 6-year term had been served.

Logan was always adventurous, had a wonderfully contagious smile and never met a stranger.  Logan had a swagger about him that made people fall in love with him and he was always bringing great joy to his loving mother, whether he was singing a Hoobastank song or reminding her to be strong.  He had an immense love for his family and was the love of his mother’s life.  Logan was passionate about motorcycles, nature, cars, fishing, hunting, doing anything and everything outdoors and animals.  He was unconditionally and deeply loved by so many and will be tremendously missed.

Preceding Logan in death is his sister, Erica “Brynn” Rosenbarger; his cousin, Johnny Rosenbarger V; his grandmother, Kim Keeling; his grandfather, Albert Ross; along with his great-grandparents, John Rosenbarger, Jr., Gloria Hayes, John Alford, and Clarence and Frieda VanNatta.

Left to cherish and love the memories of Logan’s life is his parents, Bethany Ross-Streble, Adam Streble and Eric Rosenbarger; his brothers, Jaiden and Slade Rosenbarger; his loving girlfriend and love of his life, Mattie Armstrong; his grandparents, John Rosenbarger III, Sondra “Sissy” Rosenbarger, Joseph “Bo” and Kathy Candell, and Wayne and Bonnie Streble; his great-grandmother, Loretta Shepherd; his aunts, Rebecca Frierson (Wes), Bethany Streble, Jessica Kelly, and Amanda Tingle (Josh); his uncles, Jeffrey Ross (Alisa), Johnny Rosenbarger IV and Derrick Rosenbarger (Bekah); along with his cousins, Emaline and Piper Frierson, Jaret and Jaylon Ross, Serenity and Gunnar Johnson, Tristan Rosenbarger, Halie Russ, Kelsey Ruth, Blake, Dylan and Emma Kelly, and Alex Keeling; along with countless other cousins and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Logan will be at Noon on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Interment with full Military Rites will immediately follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family Friday, July 29, 2022, at the funeral home.
