Lois Pipin

Lois Pippin Share E-mail Visit Guest Book PIPPIN, LOIS, 86, of Louisville, and a native of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Norton Hosparus.
She was the former Lois Vertrees and was retired from Philip Morris Tobacco Co. Lois married Charles Crump on November 1, 1941. He died during the Normandy invasion. She married Paul Pippin July 31, 1945 and they were married 63 years. Paul died on September 27, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mattie Vertrees; sister, Lillian Pippin; and her husband, Paul Pippin.
She is survived by her sons, Mark and David Pippin; daughter, Priscilla Sadler; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mom's pain and suffering is over. She'll spend eternity with Daddy, who she missed so much. Daddy said she was a great Gospel singer and she was.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Longfield United Baptist Church, 5507 Cartledge Court, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, after 9 a.m. Saturday at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. (Rockford Lane).
