Share Visit Guest Book Lonnie Z. Ray RAY, LONNIE Z., 82, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a retired machine operator at Alcan Aluminum and a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen T. Ray, his parents, Gilbert and May Ray; sister, Ailene Allison and brother, Sammy Ray.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ann Frazier and Katherine Lynn Gritton (Mike); grandchildren, Robert Weatherman, Lisa Myers (Josh) and Jennifer Franklin (Rusty); five great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Rhea.
Lonnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, many great friends at Rubbies and Sun Valley Country Club.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation 1-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman's.
