Roney, Lora E. View/Sign Guest Book RONEY, LORA E., 82, of Louisville passed from this life on Monday July 7, 2008 at Jewish Hospital. She was the former Lora Edwards, a native of Hazard, KY, a retired inspector for the P. Lorillard Tobacco Co., and a member of the Cloverleaf Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Roney. She is survived by a sister, Lillie Campbell; brothers, Billy and Denver Edwards; a sister-in-law, Laura Martin; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at 10 am Thursday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
