BENSING, LORAINE A. (FEGEL), 95, of Louisville passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home.
Loraine was a native of St. Louis, MO, a member of St. Stephen United Church Of Christ, womens club and choir. She also was a helper at Brooklawn Children's Home.
She had retired as a school guard for St. Lawrence Church School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Bensing and her daughter, Marjorie Thrasher.
Survivors include her son, Douglas Bensing; four grandchildren, Becky Thrasher, Eddie Thrasher, Connie Gill and Donald Buckler.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Monday.
