ASHLEY, LORENA, 85, passed away June 17, 2012.
She was an Avon representative for over 40 years, a former "Rosie Riveter" of aircraft during World War II at the Curtiss-Wright Corp., and a member of Shively Baptist Church where she was active in the Hannah Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Ashley; two brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her children, Charles Ashley (Denise) and Nancy Ashley (Terry McGann); grandsons, Chris Ashley (Tori) and Justin Ashley (Barbara); one great-granddaughter, Lilly Ashley; one step-great-grandson, Brenden Pusso; and one sister, Kathleen Swift.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3 - 9 p.m. Friday.
