Luella Southerland

SUTHERLAND, LUELLA "GRANNY", 92, returned to her Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Mrs. Sutherland was a member of Worthington Church of Christ and the former owner/operator of Sutherland Grocery. Among those who preceded her in death include her husbands, James W. Helm and Cecil Sutherland; son, Tommy Helm; great-granddaughter, Ashley Vogt. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Dorothy "Dottie" White (Keith); sons, James Lawrence Helm and Cecil Southerland Jr. (Debbie); daughter-in-law, Linda Helm; foster sons, Charles Oehler, Robert and Billy Williams; eight grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.), with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
