She was a retired welder for General Electric Co.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Lana), Danny (Judy) and Larry Staples; sister, Sadie Tunks; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her service will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Hardy Valley Funeral Home, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
