Lula Wilson

Lula Mae Wilson, 86, wife to the late Charles E. Wilson, Sr., passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital.  She was born to the late John Wallace and Lois Edna (Holbert) Wilson in Petersburg, TN on August 16, 1934.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, James Wilson and a grandson, James Garrett.

Lula was a retired head start teacher for Bedford County, TN and was a member of Bates Memorial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Victoria Williams, Valencia Hail (Gary), Charlotte Garrett, Charles E. Wilson, Jr. along with grandchildren, Roshon Lay, Jeral Lay, Violet Wilson, Phillip Lay, Courtney Verge (Travis), and Felecia Garrett.  She will also be missed by numerous great-great-grandchildren and a special friend, Romilita Prince (Frederick).

A memorial service will be held Saturday (11/21) at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Visitation will be the same day from 12:00 until time of service.

Due Covid restrictions masks are required during visitation and services and social distancing is expected.
