M. Marie Worf "Aunt Marie" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book WORF, M. MARIE "AUNT MARIE," 89, passed away October 19, 2009 at Masonic Home Village. She was the former M. Marie Parsley.
She was a member of Auburndale Baptist Church and the Sonshiners Group there, and Southern Star Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
She was retired from American-Standard where she was employed in the Payroll and Accounting departments.
Survivors include 18 beloved nieces, nephews, and their families. In her last years she was cared for daily by her devoted "guardian angel", Nett Faulkenburg.
Aunt Marie allowed the Lord to turn her personal suffering into an outreaching love to others. More than an aunt, she became a second mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.
Visitation will be Friday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr. from 2 -4, 6-8 p.m. Again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
Memorial gifts may be made to Auburndale Baptist Church or the Cabbage Patch Settlement House.
