Mabel Holton

HOLTON, LOUISE "BROOKS" 101, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. She was a member of South Jefferson Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Holton Sr.; sons, Joseph Grig and John Henry Jr.; brothers and sisters, Adalene Elizabeth Reed, Teddy Durward Brooks, Dorothy "Maxine" Horn, Oscar Lane Brooks, James Russell Brooks, Marion Allen Brooks and Daniel Haupt Brooks. Survivors include her daughter, Jannine Miller (W.L.); sons, Jack Holton (Edna) and David Holton (Sue); brother, Don Brooks; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Her service will be noon Friday at the W.G. Hardy Funeral Home, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
