Manuel Cox

Manuel U. Cox, Sr, 75, passed away on December 5, 2022, at his home in Florida. He was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky on August 27, 1947, to the late Clifford and Mary (Cox). He was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Manuel enjoyed old cars and trucks and playing card games.

He was preceded by his siblings, Michael Cox and Sheila Helton, and his stepfather Paul Carter.

Manuel is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Brenda Goben Cox; his sons, Manuel “Buster” Cox, Jr. and Wes Cox; his half-brother, Chris Carter; his 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Manuel will be held on Tuesday, December 13^th at 12:30 pm, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Kidney Foundation.
