Marcia Davis

DAVIS, MARCIA FOWLER, 67, of LaGrange, KY, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her home.

She loved the Lord and to study his word. She was involved in Bible Studies, was a founding member of Springdale Community Church, a member of the Louisville Genealogical Society, and a BFS Leader. She loved to cook, sew, read, travel and enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Fowler, and her father and stepmother, Dale and Ellen Fowler.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Davis; son, Scott Davis (Angela); and grandchildren, Emma and Owen.

Funeral service will be Friday, 2 p.m., Springdale Community Church, with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be Thursday, 4-8 p.m., Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made on her behalf to Springdale Community Church.
