Margaret Flood "Peggy" Share E-mail Visit Guest Book FLOOD, MARGARET "PEGGY," 75, passed away Wednesday September 30, 2009 at her home with family at her side.
She served as a homemaker for her husband and six children in addition to working in the cafeteria at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Fairdale High School. Peggy was a charter member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and a member of the Carmel Quilters.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Peter C. Flood; sons, Glenn (Therese), Gary, Pete Jr. (Sherry) and Scott Flood (Joellen); daughters, Susan Portman (Mike) and Judy Noble (Bob); sisters, Mary L. Higdon and Linda Jones (Cliff); 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 7335 Southside Drive, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday at J. E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive.
Memorials may go to either Hosparus or her church.
