Pottinger, Margaret Evelyn Case "Marty" View/Sign Guest Book POTTINGER, MARGARET "MARTY" EVELYN CASE, 85, of Louisville, departed this life to begin anew in a better place, Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Louisville, Mrs. Pottinger lived her entire life in this area. She was a member of the Beechmont Baptist Church and Ninth and "O" Baptist Church. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Benjamin and Elizabeth Larkins (Stockard) Case; husband, William Chester Pottinger; and sister, Marie Ireland. Mrs. Pottinger is survived by children, Ellen Odam (Jim), Robert O. Pottinger and Melinda P. Aschbacher (Bill); grandchildren, Tracy Hammond (Mike), Shannon Childress (Troy), Evan and Emily Aschbacher; great-grandchildren, Brennan Hayes and Matthew and Savannah Childress. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2009, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Memorial Gardens Drive. A funeral service honoring her life will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Beechmont Baptist Church or Hosparus of Louisville. Arrangements are under the direction of Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
