Smith, Marian C. View/Sign Guest Book SMITH, MARIAN C., 84, died Saturday, September 13, 2008. She was born in Louisville, November 10, 1923, to the late Harry and Marian (Goose-Huette) Rice. She was married to her beloved husband of 31 years, Donald Smith, who died on February 21, 1980. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 229. Besides her parents and husband, her sister, Florencee Atkins, preceded her in death. Her sister, Mary Elizabeth Rightor and several nieces and nephews survive her. Interment of her ashes was at Louisville Memorial Gardens. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
