On Friday, November 16, 2018, a light of love dimmed for the family and friends of Marilyn A. Davis Fulner, a loving, giving, funny daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and nanny. Born on July 19, 1935, she walked the senior steps of Presentation Academy in 1954. In 1955, she married George Edward Fulner at St. Helens Church in Shively. She was a caring and tolerant mother to Steven, Sheri (James Fogus), Mark (Donna), and Timothy. In her life, she loved and will be remembered by her brother Jim and his wife Bonnie Davis, her Fulner in-laws and “out-laws,” Jack and Alveda Fulner, Judy and Herb Montgomery, Jerry and Karen Fulner, and Larry and Donna Ledington. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and more nieces and nephews then she could shake a stick at, which she often did.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willard and Thelma Davis and her son Steven George Fulner.
A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1925 Lewiston Drive. Visitation will be Monday from 12-8 pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Candy for Caring, 4208 LaSalle Avenue, Louisville, KY 40215. (502 380 0064)
