WOOD, MARILYN L. (SMITH), 71, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013.
She was a retired paralegal at Morgan & Pottinger Attorney and a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Lillie Cissell and brother, Lynn Cissell.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Carroll Wood; sons, Bill Wood (Tara), and Bob Wood (Teresa); sisters, Jeanne Gay (Bill) and Shirley Murphy (Mike); grandchildren, Corey (Kathy), Nick, Megan, Cody, Tyler and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Courtney and Kacie and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands.
