(NORMAN) "MARGIE," 83, of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014. She was a native of Temple Hill, KY and member of Shively Church of Christ. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Grace (Douglas) Norman; and her brother, Edison Norman. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Arlen Emerson; children, Lannie Arlen Emerson (Serena) and Donna Allen (Dana); grandchildren, Julie McMahan, Brandon Allen, Jeremy Emerson (Brittany), Nathan Emerson, and Isaiah Emerson; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey McMahan, Braden Emerson, and Ansley Emerson. Her service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
