Mark Kennedy

Mark Anthony Kennedy, 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022.  He was born on March 9, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James, Sr. and Peggy (Sublett) Kennedy.

Left to cherish the memories of Mark’s life is his mother, Peggy Kennedy; his brother, Jim Kennedy, Jr.; and his sister, Jennifer Kennedy.

Mark was an extremely thoughtful person, always available at a moment’s notice to help anyone.  He loved his family immensely but was especially crazy about his loving mother and sister.  Mark would always help his mother with his sister, Jennifer, and always stepped up and took care of things and made sure they didn’t want for anything.  He was such a sweet, loving and caring son.

Mark graduated from Butler High School in 1988.  He was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan and watched the NFL.  Mark loved to talk and never met a stranger.  He was a great storyteller and people loved listening to him.  Mark will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that knew him.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 3PM until 7PM, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Friends may call on the family at that time.
