Marshall Lawrence

LAWRENCE, MARSHALL M. JR., 80, of Louisville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was the former owner and operator of the old Beef 'N' Boards Dinner Theater, a member of the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge #14, Scottish Rite, Oleika Shrine, Lexington, KY, VFW Life Member, Lebanon, KY, American Legion Post 5910, Lexington, KY, an Army veteran of World War II and a Methodist. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Evans Lawrence; children, Marshall M. Lawrence III (Kathy), Deborah Thomason (Steven), Catherine Amyx (Barry), Cordell Lawrence (Beverly) and Margaret Ann Smith (Ed); brother Dr. David Lawrence; sister, Margaret Davis; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with entombment at Louisville Memorial GardensEast.
