BROADUS, MARTHA JANE, passed away June 12, 2013 at Signature Healthcare South.

She was the former Martha Smith and was born in Frankfort, KY. Mrs. Broadus was a former part-time administrative assistant and a homemaker. She also was a member of the W.M.U. and a senior director of travel trips for 9th & O Baptist church.

She is survived by her husband Frank F. Broadus Jr. and her son, Frank F. Broadus, III; brother, Foster Smith Jr.; sisters, Ann Furnish, Betty Jean Forsee (Oswalt) and Elaine Massie (J.B.); three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at The Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens,West. Visitation will be Thursday June 13,2013 from 2-8 p.m. Online condolences to www.owenfuneralhome.com
