LENTZ, MARTHA JEAN (OLIVER), 81, passed away October 19,2012 at Essex Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Eugene John Lentz; sisters, Ollie Tucker, Mary Ann Oliver, and Nonie Upton; and brothers, Kenneth, Bill, Tony and Jimmy Oliver.
She was member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, and the old St. Clement Friendship Club.
She is survived by daughters, Joan Milkint (Bruce), Judith McCubbins (Tony), Frances Distler (David) and Andrea Wright (Billy); sons, Eugene Lentz Jr., Patrick (Tina), Gregory (Shawna) and Timothy Lentz ( Jill); 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnsontown Road, with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., on Monday, 2 -8 p.m.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Essex Nursing Home, and all those who loved and cared for her.
