Martha Jean McCoy (Colgate) Share E-mail Visit Guest Book MCCOY, MARTHA JEAN (COLGATE), 80, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Christopher East Health Care Facility.
Mrs. McCoy was born in Larue County, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wedding and Rose Colgate and son Greg.
Mrs. McCoy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Kelley W. McCoy; her brother, Ray Colgate; son, Mike Wells; daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Greg); grandchildren, Jordan, Brittney, Christopher and Tiffany; great granddaughter, Destiny; many nephews and nieces; two step sons, Richard McCoy (Sharon) and Ronnie McCoy (Glenda); one stepdaughter, Brenda Cordoba also survives. Mrs. McCoy was blessed with nine stepgrandchildren and 21 stepgreat-grandchildren. Special thanks are given to her granddaughter Kelley Basham.
She was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church, Pastor Rick Bowden will preside at funeral service, 1p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Thursday from noon-8 p.m. and Friday morning 10 a.m. until service at 1 p.m.
