Martha A. Newton Share E-mail Visit Guest Book NEWTON, MARTHA A., 69, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Baptist Hospital East.
She was a retired inspector for Philip Morris Tobacco Co. and an employee of the former Super Pets Store in Hikes Point. Martha was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Calene Anderson; two grandchildren, Connor Anderson and Celia Thomas; a sister, Dody Ottman; a brother, Paul Newton; many nieces and nephews, among which is her god daughter, Carrie Ann Ottman Hayes.
Her funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with cremation to follow. Burial of the cremains will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation is after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
