Mary Louise Barnett Fulkerson

Mary Louise Barnett Fulkerson, 94, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023. She was born on July 25, 1929, to the late Estill and Mary Jane (Satterly) Hilpp, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mary enjoyed dancing and was an avid golfer and remained athletic and active her entire life.  She was a beautiful woman, with much grace and poise.  Most of all, Mary, was a very loving mother and grandmother, her family meant the most to her and would always insist on paying for meals out with her family.  She will most certainly be missed by all that had the privilege to know her.

Preceding Mary in death was her loving husbands, Albert Barnett and Bill Fulkerson; and her brother, Russell Hilpp.

Left behind to cherish the memories of Mary's life are her children, John Barnett, Karen Hupp, and Denise Chism (Dennis); her grandchildren, Bryan, Scotty (Jenny), Aaron (Holly), Brittnie, and Beth (Eddie); her great-grandchildren, Max (Delaney), McKenzie, Lauren, Makayla, Everly, Myriah, and Sean; her great-great-grandchildren, Mila and Brooks; her many nieces and nephews that meant the world to her; along with many other extended family members and friends.

A funeral service to honor Mary will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 20, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Friends may call on the family on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 3PM until 7PM at the funeral home.
