Mary Baxter

Estelle Baxter, 83, passed Sunday, August 11, 2013. She was born on June 9, 1930 in Bowling Green, KY to Lige and Lula Cowles. She was a member of Dover Chapel Baptist Church and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, going to the casino, writing poems, making candy, bingo and fishing. She was a prolific gifter of her candy, scarves and booties. She was also known as "the prettiest girl working at Philip Morris."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond Baxter; two daughters - Mona "Jane" (Scott) Simmons and Pamela Baxter, one son - Scott (Lisa) Baxter, a sister - Christine Cowles, grandchildren - Brandon, Rob, Nick, Sean, Lindsey, Meredith and Heather, great-grandchildren Eli, Camden and Corbin.
