COLEMAN, LILLIAN M., 94, of Louisville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 28, 2012.
She was a devout member of Lyon's Missionary Baptist Church, a member of The Order of Eastern Star, who also retired from A&P.
She was preceded in death by her first husband RC Hagerman, then by David M. Coleman her husband of nearly 40 years.
Lil leaves behind to cherish her memory: two adoring sisters, Rowena Kinkade, and Jean Clark and a loving brother Harley Miller. She also leaves behind Greg W. Butler (Carol) and Tabitha M. Clark (Doug) who were like her grandchildren, as well as many other loving nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. She taught each of us to live life to its fullest, experience new things, cherish our friends and stay true to our principles and most of all to love.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lyons Missionary Baptist Church on Gagel Avenue with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., from noon-8 p.m. Thursday. Friday visitation will be at the church, 9 a.m. with service at 11 a.m.
