Craven, Mary Margaret "Margie" VanCleave,
87, went peacefully to be with our Heavenly Father
on August 4, 2014.
Her life was devoted to the unconditional love and care
of family, friends and neighbors. She was a "Charter Member" of America's "Greatest Generation" living the " American Dream"and representing a life model for family and Christian values.
She was a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed the faith! and fellowship of her many friends there.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Wiseheart, Barbara Fey,brother, Bill VanCleave, and her beloved granddaughter Shelley McDonnaugh.
She is survived by her soul mate of 71 years, Verland Ancel Craven, son Bobby!Craven (Sharon), granddaughter, Christine Ward (Barry), grand son in law Mack McDonnaugh,great grandchildren, Tate and Macy Ward, Jordyn McDonnaugh, and a very special niece, Debbie Duncan.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday.
