Eason, Mary E. View/Sign Guest Book EASON, MARY E., 84, of Flaherty, KY, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was the former Mary Allen and a retired press operator for The Courier-Journal. Mary was preceded in death by two sons, David and Bennie Eason; daughter, Elsie Armstrong; and grandson, David Eason Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Welsh and Debbie Cissel; brothers, Paul, E.J., Vergil and Donnie Allen; sisters, Lena Blain, Judy Webb, Marie Murphy, Ermine Meadows and Barbara Messner; two sons-in-law; a daughter-in-law; two great daughters-in-law; special friends, Richie and Robert; her caregiver, Phyllis; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren. Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd. with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 11 a.m.- 8 p.m. Wednesday.
