Mary "Joyce" Gerlach

Mary Joyce Gerlach, 82, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

She married her late husband, Ron, on September 25, 1965.  Mary was a member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church.  She was an avid M&M collector.  Mary enjoyed sewing, playing the piano and violin and going to the casino.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Joseph Gerlach; her parents, Lee and Dora Huber, Jr.; her brothers, J.T., Stanley, and Lee, Jr.; her sisters, Ruth Carlette Sage, Dorothy Ann Justice, and Nina Jeanette Samuels.

Surviving is her son, Patrick Joseph Gerlach, Sr. (Angel, which was more of a daughter than a daughter-in-law); her 2 grandsons, Alton Gerlach and Patrick Joseph Gerlach, Jr.; her granddaughter, Destiny Renee Goodman; along with a host of wonderful nephews and nieces that she loved very much.

A funeral service will be held to honor Mary at 2PM on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway.  Friends may call on the family on Saturday from 10AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
