Mary Kiefer

Kiefer, Mary Sue Hinton KIEFER, MARY SUE HINTON, was born in Kirk, KY on April 29, 1936 to Lucy Catherine and James Milton Hinton. Passed away at her home Wednesday, June 20, 2007. She was a devoted Catholic and Member of the Incarnation Church Family. She will be welcomed into heaven by those who preceded her, her granddaughter, Amber Lynn Kiefer; her parents, and brothers, Pete and Bud Hinton. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walter Kiefer Sr.; her children, Sandy Jones (Dwayne) of Bardstown, KY, Walter Jay Kiefer Jr. (Terri) of Fisherville, KY, John Kiefer (Kathy) of Clermont, KY and Susan Diane Leder (Eric) of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Corey and Ben Jones, Cody and Jeb Kiefer, Katie and Hunter Kiefer, and Erica and Jacob Leder; sisters, Louise Roach and Bernice Taul; brothers, Joe Hinton, Bill Hinton, as well as Pat and Mary Louise Snipp and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Incarnation Catholic Church 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. With burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West . Visitation will be 3- 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 3- 9 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Published in The Courier-Journal on 6/21/2007.
