POLLARD, MARCIE M. GARRETT, 73, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Norton Hospice Pavilion.
She was a member of Cardinal Hill Baptist Church, AL-ANON, and retired from Kentucky Telco Credit Union.
Marcie is preceded in death by her parents, Druie and Isabel Garrett; sister, Marie Garrett; grandson, Bradley Brimer.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years Don Pollard Sr.; children, Dana Brimer (Brenda), Diane Staggs (Bob), Darcey Gillispie, Doug Brimer (April), Russell Moss (Julie); stepsons Donald Pollard Jr. (Sherry), Dennis Pollard (Kirsten); stepdaughter, Deanna Pearcy (Dennis); brothers, Druie Garrett, Bluford Garrett (Mavis), Monty Garrett (Mary), George Garrett (Susie), Joe Garrett (Sharon); sisters Geraldine Titus; Betty Horton; brother-in-law Charles Crabtree; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is Friday from 1-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association s or Leukemia Associations.
