She was a native of Springfield, KY. Survivors include her husband, Gilford Reece; four children, Phyllis Sobek, Patricia Hornback, Kevin Reece, and Greg Reece; a brother, Lee Roy Burkhead; six grandchildren, Becci, James, Carla, Jamie, Danielle, and Jennifer; two great-grandchildren, Destanie, and James. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m. -8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts to American Cancer Society.
