Rice, Mary Allen View/Sign Guest Book RICE, MARY ALLEN, 88, of Masonic Home, went to be with our Heavenly Father Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She was born January 30, 1920 in Paynesville (Meade County), KY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, J. Woodroe "Woody" Allen; and her late husband of 18 years, Charles M. Rice. She will be loved and remembered by her son, Ron Allen (Gina), of Prospect, KY; daughter, Judy Kalmey (Ed), of Prospect; sister, Ruth Garland, of Louisville; five grandchildren, Kim Anna (David), of Goshen, KY, Kent Kalmey (Susan), of Prospect, Karrie Kernan (Mike), of Pewee Valley, KY, Dr. Tom Allen (Leslie), of Lexington, KY, Angie Banta (Keith), of Louisville; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be private on Tuesday, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY.
