SAUNDERS, MARY LUCKETT, 93, of Louisville, passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at Sam Swope Care Center.
Born in Milton, KY, she was a member of Clifton Christian Church and Eastern Star, Jerusalem Chapter #254 in Clifton, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Saunders.
She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Minrath (Buddy) and Ginger Tinsley (Tuck); grandsons, Brian Minrath (Christy), David A. Backer (Elizabeth), and William S. Backer (Adria); great-grandchildren, Samantha and William Minrath and Ava Grace Backer; and sister, Barbara Malone.
Her funeral service will be noon Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Highlands.
