Mary Speers

SPEERS, MARY M., 96, of St. Petersburg FL, passed away Wednesday July 10, 2013. She was preceded by her husband John E. Speers in 1975. Mary Leaves her legacy of two sons, John C. Speers and Jim E. Speers (Sheila) of Louisville; four daughters, Joan Bailey (Pat) of Hudson, FL, Carol Berry (Don) of The Villages, FL, Dee Taylor of St. Petersburg and Mary Boyd (Rocky) of Seminole, FL; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 4400 Dixie Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Hwy. Burial will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Her eyes so blue and beautiful, Her smile could make your day, Her touch so soft and soothing, would ease your troubles away... No words could ever totally express the extreme greatness of this lady, our MOM! She will be extremely missed by all who have had the honor of crossing her path...and loved til there is no tomorrow. Thank you Mon/Grandma for teaching through example the true meaning of love and family. You will forever be on our minds and in our hearts till we meet again in heaven! Please have the oatmeal ready!
