Mary Spencer

SPENCER, MARY ELLEN, 67, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at her home in Corbin, KY. She was a native of Louisville and a retired food service manager for Pitt Academy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Spencer. Survivors include three sons, Eddie, Darrin and Kevin Spencer; her mother, Laverne Hacker; siblings, Mary Margaret Reynolds, Mary Ann Huddleston, JoAnn Schmoll, Teddy Schmoll, Connie Hacker and Teresa Childress; and grandchildren, Charlene, Christopher and Connor. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday.
