Welsh, Edna,
81, of Louisville, passed peacefully late Saturday evening at her home.
She was the former Mary Edna Bouteiller. She retired from General Electric Building 5 (refrigeration) after 22 years of service. She loved having Sunday dinner every Sunday at her house. She was a great cook and a wonderful grandma.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Charles H. Welsh; and brothers, Charles "Junior" Bouteiller and Joe Bouteiller.
Survivors include her beloved sons, Butch Welsh (Karen) and Pat Welsh (Nancy); grandchildren, Christy Chapman (Shaun), Felicia Mitchell (Brian), Amelia Vandeventer, Ruben Hann and Michael Hann; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Brayden, Savannah, Aidan, Alexis and Arianna; her sister, Dorothy "Dot" Underhill (Doug); and brother, Johnny Bouteiller (Mary Lou); and sister-in-law, Irene Bouteiller.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Rd., with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitationis 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
