Mary Wortham

WORTHAM, MARY JANE (BUCHHOLD), 92 passed away Tuesday May 20,2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was a retired secretary for the Jefferson County Board of Education, with 22 years of service and a life member of Shawnee Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Paul "Jack" , son Paul Walter , sister Doris Witt and by a very dear and close friend of many years Cherry Chambers. Survivors include her daughter Mary Gail Wortham Beneteau ( Bernard); sister-in-law Patricia Anne Wortham, grandchildren Debbie (Tom), Paula, Brian and Laura, five great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson. Sisters, Genevieve Ensor and Carol Roberts (Jack). Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at her church, 1520 Gagel Ave., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., and after 10 a.m. Saturday at church.
