Maudie Dowell

Maudie M. Dowell, 81, wife to Zack S. Dowell, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday May 11th at Baptist Health Center. She was born to the late G. Thomas and M. Rhea Higdon Mudd in Caneyville, KY on October 26, 1933.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Faith Burdine, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
Maudie always talked fondly of the little church she attended as a child and how she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Besides her husband of over 60 years she is survived by their children; Allen Dowell (Barbara), Paula Burdine (Ken), Michael Dowell, Kenny Dowell, and Ritch Dowell (Catherine) along with 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and siblings; Donnie Mudd (Joanne), and Maryanne Dennison (Charley) with a host of family and friends.
