Maxine Yerke

Yerke, Maxine D. YERKE, MAXINE D., 82, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at University Hospital. She was a native of Elkhart, IN and a retired executive secretary for Motors Insurance Company. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold A. and Mildred Ruth Harmon Yerke; and a brother, Dale G. Yerke. She is survived by her cousin, Joanne Brookshire, of Elkhart, IN and numerous friends. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Hwy., Shively. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the donor's favorite charity. Published in The Courier-Journal
